OnePath Industry & Career Readiness Program
Helping students move beyond discovery into practical pathway awareness, readiness development, and future-focused skill validation.
The OnePath Industry & Career Readiness Program is designed to extend the student journey beyond career matching alone. It helps students explore pathway-aligned opportunities, build stronger awareness of future study and work environments, engage in meaningful readiness experiences, and gradually develop evidence of their growth, interests, and developing strengths.

From Career Discovery to Future Readiness
Discovering suitable pathways is a powerful first step. Students also benefit from experiences that help them explore those pathways more deeply and confidently.
Career discovery gives students an important starting point by helping them identify majors, interests, and future directions that may suit them well. From there, many students benefit from additional exposure that helps them better understand how those pathways connect to real industries, university experiences, and future opportunities. The OnePath™ Industry & Career Readiness Program is designed to build on that foundation by adding practical engagement, structured experiences, and stronger future awareness to the student journey.
How Students Can
Build on Career Discovery
Career discovery helps students better understand their interests, strengths, and possible future directions, giving them a more informed place to begin.
2. Pathways Become Clearer Through Exposure
Students often gain a deeper understanding of their options when they engage with real examples, career activities, and university-connected experiences.
3. Real Context Supports Better Decisions
Learning about industries, study environments, and future roles can help students make choices with greater clarity and confidence.
4. Engagement Strengthens Confidence
Students tend to feel more certain about their future direction when they participate in meaningful experiences linked to their interests and potential pathways.
5. Readiness Can Begin Before Final Decisions
Even before choosing a university or major, students can begin building awareness, confidence, and practical understanding that supports future success.
6. OnePath™ Extends the Journey
The OnePath™ Industry & Career Readiness Program builds on career discovery by helping students move from insight into stronger engagement, practical awareness, and future readiness.

Is your school’s annual tuition fee $10,000 or below?
Your school may qualify for free access to OnePath™ Platform, SchoolsMaster™, UNIRANKS Certified Counselor, and the OnePath™ Industry & Career Readiness Program.
How the Readiness Process Works
A guided pathway that combines student choice, supervised participation, practical evidence, assessment, and final recognition.
The OnePath™ Industry & Career Readiness Program is designed as a structured journey rather than a standalone test. Students begin by selecting a pathway that matches their interests, then take part in supervised activities that help them build real exposure and practical understanding. With counselor oversight, activity evidence, evaluation input, and a final OnePath™ exam, the process leads to a more meaningful readiness result and a stronger certificate outcome.
Step-by-Step Student Journey

1. Program Selection & Sign-Up
Students choose a readiness program that matches their interests, goals, or recommended pathways, then complete the sign-up process through OnePath™.

2. Guided Activity Participation
Under counselor supervision, students can join relevant readiness activities such as a workshop, short course, internship, field experience, competition, university-hosted activity, or counselor-guided track. These opportunities can also be managed directly through the OnePath™ activity system.

3. Achievement Evidence Upload
Once the student completes the activity, the counselor uploads the outcome or evidence of achievement, which may include attendance, task completion, project work, supervisor notes, or participation records.

4. Counselor Evaluation Input
The counselor adds their professional input to reflect the student’s engagement, effort, progress, and readiness observed throughout the activity or learning experience.

5. OnePath™ Readiness Exam
After completing the practical stage, the student takes the OnePath™ exam for that specific pathway to help assess understanding, awareness, and level of readiness.

6. Final Score & Certification
The final result is based on both the student’s exam performance and guided activity journey, leading to a score out of 10, a readiness level, and an official OnePath™ certificate.
How Readiness Is Evaluated
Final results are designed to reflect both assessment performance and real participation across the student journey.
The OnePath™ Industry & Career Readiness Program is designed to evaluate students through a more balanced model that goes beyond a standalone exam. Final readiness can reflect not only the OnePath™ assessment, but also the student’s completion of relevant activities, practical engagement, and counselor or mentor input.
Final Score Model
- 40% OnePath™ readiness exam
- 25% course or workshop completion
- 20% practical activity, project, or internship performance
- 15% counselor or mentor evaluation
Readiness Levels
- 0.0–2.4 → Foundational
- 2.5–4.9 → Progressing
- 5.0–7.4 → Ready
- 7.5–10.0 → Highly Ready
